Driving home today they played "Under the Bridge" by the Red Hot Chili Pepper on the radio, and it reminded me of an old childhood memory. I think I was in 5th or 6th grade, and after a basketball game my Dad drove me and some of my teammates home; Blake Richards, I think Matt Crouse, and Blake's really tall buddy on our team who went to another school. Anyways, on the way home they played "Under the Bridge", and the lyrics ignited us to sing along. We sang the whole way through, smiling and laughing all the way. It was one of those rare bonding moments between friends, and something I will never forget. To this day it still brings a smile to my face just thinking about it. Who's down for some karaoke???
